These dates are not exhaustive and apply to the most common commodities and insurance plans for Federal crop insurance.

Sales closing deadlines

  • March 15: Spring seeded crops and Whole Farm Revenue Protection
  • September 30: Fall seeded crops and Margin Protection Plan for Spring Seeded Crops

Acreage reporting deadlines

  • July 15: Spring seeded crops
  • December 15: Fall seeded crops

Production reporting deadlines
