The COUNTRY Financial Community
We are committed to the communities we serve.
We are more than just an insurance company. We are a proud sponsor of non-profit organizations, like the United Way and Relay for Life, that make up and support individuals and families in our communities.
We're not about gimmicks and one-size-fits-all solutions - we're committed to your financial success. From insurance to investments, our representatives work alongside you. For nearly a century, we've been helping people achieve financial security. Our customer stories speak for themselves.Hear their stories
Nearly four decades of green
Since our first recycling initiative in 1976, we've shown our commitment to environmental sustainability. The COUNTRY Financial Green Team continually explores the large and small changes to help us make a lasting environmental difference. In our offices, the carpet, paper, refurbished furniture and even one of our elevators are made from recycled materials. In 2013, our Home Office composting efforts kept 3,332 pounds of food waste out of landfills. Living and working green is possible on many levels - down to each individual efficient light bulb. We strive every day to live green.
Diversity & Inclusion
Nothing is more powerful than a group of people from varying backgrounds and experiences working together to develop a solution. That’s the kind of inclusive workplace we’re striving to build. We work every day to support our financial representatives to meet the diverse needs of their customers and communities.
Kurt Bock, CEO
Employee resource groups, such as Women in Networking, foster inclusion. Internship programs, such as The Learning and Leading internship program, gives students the opportunity to work in a corporate setting and learn about potential careers. Our financial representatives draw from diverse backgrounds and training, and operate in rural and urban communities, to help people from all walks of life achieve financial security.
We continually build and deepen relationships with community leaders, academic institutions and professional organizations, including the National Hispanic Corporate Council, Illinois Diversity Council, and chapters of the NAACP and Urban League.
We focus on initiatives that provide financial literacy to individuals and families. We support organizations serving a diverse segment of the population including Boys and Girls Club, Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve, Habitat for Humanity, Neighborhood Housing Services of Chicago and YMCA/YWCA.
