We wish health insurance headaches could be cured with a pill.

Since they can't, we're here to help answer your health insurance questions and find the coverage you need at a price you can afford.

Intro to the Affordable Care Act

The Affordable Care Act has sparked countless questions about the future of healthcare.

And that’s nothing new – the costs of healthcare and health insurance have been big concerns for decades. While it’s pretty common for medium to large employers to offer health insurance coverage to their employees, if you're self-employed, work part-time or work for a small business, you may be on your own. Not anymore. We can help.

The ACA and You

Health insurance reform means that you are guaranteed coverage regardless of your medical history.

Selecting the Right Plan

The most important factors remain the network, premiums, deductibles and co-payments.

Where You Purchase Matters

Knowing if you should purchase on or off the exchange is the only way to ensure you benefit from available subsidies and cost sharing.

When You Purchase Matters

You have a window each year during open enrollment to review and purchase coverage. Changes outside this time may require a Special Enrollment Period.

How do I know if I'm eligible for a subsidy?

Visit* during an open or valid special enrollment to determine if you are eligible for a subsidy and the amount of the assistance you'll receive.

This chart can help you figure out where you stand based on your family size and income.

If a family's Adjusted Gross Income (AGI) is BELOW the amount listed based on their family size at the 400% level, they will qualify for assistance, and likely should apply on-exchange.

If a family's AGI is ABOVE the amount listed, they will not qualify for assistance, and therefore want to apply off-exchange.

Household Size *400%
1 $48,560
2 $65,840
3 $83,120
4 $100,400
5 $117,680

* Amounts shown in chart are 400% of the federal poverty level
