WHOLE LIFE INSURANCE

You may not have a green thumb for life insurance. But we do.

We can help you understand what you need to know to make the right decisions for your family.

Whole Life Insurance

Intro to Whole Life Insurance

Whole life insurance gives you permanent protection for the rest of your life (as long as your premiums are paid).

Whole life is a good choice for those who want:

One
Consistent Premiums

Premiums are guaranteed not to change.

Two
Cash Value

It's a policy with a cash value that increases over time.

Three
Tax-free Death Benefit

Death benefits are generally paid income-tax free.1

Four
Loans & Withdrawals

You have the opportunity to take loans or withdrawals from your policy’s cash value.2

How it works

COUNTRY Life Insurance Company has five ways you can choose to pay for your policy, and you’ll choose the amount of your death benefit too. We also offer many different coverage choices so you can customize your policy to fit your life.

Executive Whole Life

Make equal premium payments up to age 95 with a policy that continues to increase in value over time. And the younger you are, the lower your premiums generally will be.

10-Pay Life

Life-long protection paid for in 10 years. This may be a good policy to help with your business continuation needs if you own a business.

20-Pay Life

Life-long protection paid for in 20 years. This may be a great choice if you want to make premium payments during working years with no further payments after you retire.

Life Paid-up at 65

With equal premium payments made up to age 65, this could be an excellent way to have a paid-up policy in retirement.

Single Premium Whole Life

One lump sum payment provides a paid-up policy which can be given as a gift to a child, grandchild or other heir; just one way to transfer tax-advantaged money to the next generation.3

Coverage Options

To customize your whole life insurance, we offer a number of additional coverages at an added cost. (Not all options are available on every policy type.) We can help you understand your choices to find the right fit for you and your family.

Child Term Insurance

Provides up to $25,000 of term insurance for all of your children age 0-17, with the opportunity to convert the coverage to permanent life insurance at age 23 without additional medical exams.

Term Insurance for You or Your Spouse

Adds 10, 15, 20 or 30-year term life insurance to your whole life policy for you or your spouse, which may be converted to a whole life policy later without additional medical exams.

Accelerated Benefit if you become terminally ill

Allows you to use up to 50 percent of the policy’s death benefit (up to $250,000) while you’re living if you’re terminally ill, and still provides a reduced death benefit for your loved ones. There is no added cost for this benefit.

Paid Up Additions

Provides the opportunity to purchase additional paid-up whole life insurance.

Guaranteed Insurability

Guarantees you the right to purchase additional whole life insurance protection within specified limits every three years, between 22 and 43 years of age, without additional medical exams.

Accidental Death Benefit

A specified additional amount will be paid if you die as a result of an accident prior to age 70.

Disability Waiver of Premium 260

If you become disabled before age 60, this waives your whole life premiums for up to two years if you can’t work in your own occupation.  It will continue to waive the premiums until age 95, as long as you are unable to work in any occupation due to your disability.

Disability Waiver of Premium 565

If you become disabled before age 65, this waives your whole life premiums for up to five years if you can’t work in your own occupation. It will continue to waive the premiums until age 95, as long as you are unable to work in any occupation due to your disability.

Long Term Care Accelerated Benefit

If you become chronically ill4, this coverage will pay a monthly benefit for eligible long term care expenses.5 The total amount available long term care is equal to the original death benefit amount of the whole life insurance policy. This can be used as a main source of long term care coverage or as a supplement to an existing long term care policy.
