Soil Type Plus
Your soil is a critical part to the success of your crops. It should be taken into consideration on your crop insurance, too!
Soil Type Plus Coverage Features
Soil Type Plus (STP) is a supplemental insurance policy1 that specifically factors in your land’s soil type in its rates. Using an innovative rating formula factoring in soil types, STP can help increase the accuracy of your insurance premium.
Purchase up to 95% of actual production history (APH) coverage in conjunction with your Federal Crop policy (in 5% increments). STP sales season is January 1 – March 15.
Pre-Season Price Assurance
Lock in your federal crop insurance projected price sooner with Pre-Season Price Assurance (PPA).
Pre-Season Price Assurance Coverage Features
PPA is a supplemental insurance policy that works with the Federal Crop Revenue Protection (RP) insurance product1.
It allows you to lock in your RP projected price before the Risk Management Agency price discovery period for federal crop policies, which can result in a higher projected price for your crop insurance guarantee. PPA sales season is September – January.
