Joel Myers

Senior Vice President Financial Services

Joel Myers became Senior Vice President Financial Services in January 2024.

Myers joined COUNTRY Financial in 2001 as an Accountant. Throughout his long career at COUNTRY, he has served in a variety of leadership positions in the Controller division, including Vice President Corporate Controller starting in 2017, Vice President Corporate Controller and Enterprise Strategy in 2022, and Senior Vice President & Corporate Controller in 2023. 

Myers serves on the Illinois Life & Health Insurance Council board, the Illinois Life & Health Guaranty Association board and the Finance, Insurance and Law board at ISU. He has also served on the IAA Credit Union Board of Directors.

Myers is a graduate of Bradley University, Peoria, Illinois, and is a Certified Public Accountant. He holds the Associate in Insurance Accounting and Finance designation, is a FINRA Operations Professional and a COUNTRY Leadership Development Program II graduate.
