COUNTRY Financial presented a $5,000 donation to the Illinois Collegiate Farm Bureau program. This investment makes possible a student-focused dinner at the Illinois Farm Bureau Annual Meeting, designed to bring members together in an environment that fosters leadership development, professional networking, and collaboration across campuses.
Collegiate Farm Bureau unites students as the voice of agriculture on their campuses and in their communities empowering them to be powerful assets for the agriculture industry. With members across 12 chapters statewide, Collegiate Farm Bureau provides students with real-world industry experiences, leadership development, service opportunities, and a strong professional network. Together, they are making an impact on their campuses and communities today while preparing to shape the future of agriculture.
“COUNTRY is proud to support organizations like this that grow interest, provide opportunities and improve acumen for the agricultural industry and the next generation of farmers,” said Lindsey Rinkenberger, Director, Commercial Agribusiness Operations at COUNTRY.
"COUNTRY’s support gives our students the chance to connect with peers and industry leaders in one space to network and grow. Networking with peers and industry leaders at events like Illinois Farm Bureau's Annual Meeting is critical and it helps students build relationships, exchange ideas, and create connections that often lead to future careers and leadership opportunities in agriculture," said Taylor Hartke, Illinois Farm Bureau collegiate program coordinator.
