Not only does Maroa-Forsyth have an excellent football program, backed by a community that’s passionate about the game, their star kicker is female. When Reilly Fitzpatrick showed up at football tryouts her freshman year, she didn’t want to be the “girl” kicker. She wanted to be the varsity kicker and a part of the team. And she is.
We wanted to see what a day in the life of Reilly looked like, so we packed up the van and hit the road. After spending two days with Reilly and her family; at her school, at practice, and under the “Friday night lights,” we left a little tired, a lot inspired, and Maroa-Forsyth Trojan fans for life.
