Urban gardening experience at Chicago Flower & Garden Show
Chicagoans will get to experience life on the farm, complete with tractors, corn and more, in the middle of the city skyline beginning Sat., March 18. Chicago Flower & Garden Show goers will learn where their food comes from and how COUNTRY Financial and the Illinois Farm Bureau have been helping farmers feed the world since 1925.
“There’s truly something for everyone and every lifestyle at the COUNTRY Financial and Illinois Farm Bureau interactive garden experience,” said Sheri Bane, vice president of commercial lines and agribusiness operations at COUNTRY Financial. “From inspiration to knowledge, we’ll be talking all things ag.”

Participants will be able to engage on social media using the hashtag: #CFGardenMakeover for a chance to win $1,500 toward a garden makeover. Booth visitors will also get a chance to capture the fun with a commemorative photo to share on social media.
The 170th Annual Chicago Flower & Garden Show runs March 18-26, at Navy Pier. Show hours are from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. both Sundays, and Monday through Wednesday; and from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday through Saturday.
