“This event is an awesome way to show how much we care and value our military members’ service to our country,” said Elias Corpas, Agency Manager at COUNTRY Financial. “I can’t think of a better way to celebrate these mothers while honoring their family’s sacrifice.”

About our military ties

COUNTRY Financial has long been a supporter of the men and women who serve and have served in the United States Armed Forces. The organization has a Military Support Group and is a longstanding member of the Statement of Support Program through the Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve (ESGR).

On Tuesday, Jan. 24, COUNTRY Financial will also sponsor a baby shower for military moms-to-be at Peabody Opera House. The lunch will include prize giveaways and an opportunity for the moms to share camaraderie and gain support from other military women in the same stage of life.

Established in 2007, Operation Shower (operationshower.org) is a non-profit organization dedicated to celebrating and honoring military families by providing joyful baby showers for military moms-to-be to ease the stress of deployment. Since then, it has honored more than 2,700 military moms and moms-to-be from the Army, Navy, Air Force, Marines, Coast Guard and National Guard during Operation Shower events on military bases, during PGA TOUR tournaments, and at other locations.

“Our service members do so much for us, they face so many setbacks and challenges when they step up to serve,” said Corpas. “Their sacrifice is one of the many reasons we pledge our support to the ESGR and give back through Operation Shower.”
