SALEM, Ore. – Out of an abundance of caution, COUNTRY Financial® is closing its corporate office in Salem, Ore., through March 31. Earlier today the company became aware of two employees who had recent contact with an individual who tested positive for the Coronavirus (COVID-19). While there is no reason to believe other employees have been exposed, the company felt it necessary to take steps to ensure the health and safety of employees and the community.
All employees in the Salem office have been asked to self-quarantine for 14 days. Employees who can work from home have been encouraged to do so, and all employees will be paid while the office is closed.
