COUNTRY Financial Gives Back
We’re passionate about helping people become financially secure. In 2016, we helped families achieve economic success through youth mentoring, employment, adult financial education and housing.
Improving credit, savings and creating a budget is the difference between homelessness and owning a home.
With the Services of HomeStretch, Nicole earned her Certified Nursing Assistant degree, increased her income, paid down her debt, and is now on her way to homeownership.
Families and communities
Our employees give back. We spent 8,500 hours volunteering in our communities.
Finding reliable work leads to a steady income, one of the most important paths to financial security.
As a part of the CLUES workforce development prograrm, Rosa attended bilingual financial empowerment classes and learned about budgeting, credit, banking, and income taxes. She saved money every month, achieved her #1 goal of purchasing a car and establishing good credit.
Financial security education creates a money-savvy generation.
Hundreds of college students attend mentoring sessions with Financial Beginnings and progressed toward their future ambitions. 85% accomplished one financial goal; 67% increased their savings; 51% increased their credit score.
Financial security education
Financial security education improves the lives of parents and children, helping end poverty in communities across the nation.
85% of Center for Economic Progress clients met one or more goals during the program, including increasing savings by $508, reducing debt by $310 and increasing credit scores by 11 points.
Helping people learn financial basics is why we partner with various groups.
