COUNTRY Financial Gives Back
We’re passionate about helping people become financially secure. In 2015, we helped families achieve economic success through youth mentoring, employment, adult financial education and housing.
Improving credit, savings and creating a budget is the difference between homelessness and owning a home. Using funds received in part from the Count on COUNTRY Grant program, the Spanish Coalition for Housing saw 100 percent of their participants improve credit; 60 percent improve their budget; 65 percent improve savings and 70 percent create a new bank account.
Families and communities
Our employees give back. We spent 8,500 hours volunteering in our communities.
Finding reliable work leads to a steady income, one of the most important paths to financial security. Jerimiah Program, a Count on COUNTRY Grant recipient, provided family goal planning sessions and career mentoring to 60 clients.
Financial security education creates a money-savvy generation. Nearly 85 COUNTRY Financialsponsored essay contests and Kids Read programs took place during Money Smart week in Georgia, Illinois, Missouri, Oregon and Wisconsin
Financial security education
Financial security education improves the lives of parents and children, helping end poverty in communities across the nation. Count on COUNTRY Grant program recipient Neighbor Economic Development Corporation (NEDCO) participants increased their financial knowledge through the LifeLine financial capability program.
Helping people learn financial basics is why we partner with various groups.
Habitat for Humanity
We fund homes and provide volunteers in Illinois, Minnesota and Atlanta.
We contribute seminars and host programs in Illinois, Georgia, Missouri, Oregon, and Wisconsin.

We help local groups empower their communities to make a positive change.

Relay for Life
American Cancer Society® (ACS) Relay for Life® garners support from employees and financial representatives who volunteer their time. We are a national team partner with more than 70 teams across the nation.
United Way is our national philanthropy and additional support comes from the many employees and financial representatives who further our commitment to this group by volunteering on United Way committees and boards.
