For up to a year, you'll work side-by-side with our representatives and serve the people who mean the most to our organization – our customers. 

This is so much more than your average internship. As an Agency Sales Intern, you'll get the real-world experience you need to be successful. Plus, you'll obtain your insurance licenses, learn about our products from some of our highest-performing representatives and grow your personal and professional network. You’ll receive a combo of on-the-job and formalized training. Upon your start date, you will get licensed, and the costs are completely covered by COUNTRY. You'll also work alongside others in the office to learn about what they do and how your job aligns. The best part? You’ll be assigned one or two representatives as mentors who will be available throughout your internship.

You’ll have the chance to interact with COUNTRY Financial employees throughout the organization. These relationships will help you develop professionally and offer you the chance to help our customers become more financially secure. You'll participate in community seminars and fundraising events, all while gaining insight into the day-to-day lives of our representatives.

How You'll Get Here

We've laid out the hiring process for you.

You may be contacted for an initial interview (about a week).

Interviews, interviews, interviews…

Interviewing is usually a multi-step process that can include a phone interview with a recruiter,  an online assessment, and an in-person interview with an Agency Manager and Agency Vice President (2-3 weeks).

Candidates are chosen.

Once someone is chosen to move forward, they’ll be notified about what types of background checks are required (about 2 weeks). 

One last but very important thing to know about being an Agency Sales Intern:

You’ll need to obtain your insurance licenses (Property/Casualty and Life/Health) within the first 45 days of your internship to continue in our program. Don’t worry, we have a great training program to help you succeed!
