Our Program Offers You
We help to inspire the next generation of COUNTRY Financial employees through programs and activities that offer the opportunity to achieve your professional goals in a supportive environment.
In addition to your manager, you’ll have a mentor to lean on when you have questions or need guidance. Both will help you network with people across the organization and arrange job shadow opportunities.
Meet our Leaders
We recognize the value of interacting and learning directly from our organization’s leaders. We give you the opportunity to meet executive leaders, directors, and managers via face-to-face or virtual interactions.
COUNTRY Success Stories
Our goal is to provide an amazing internship experience, including real work, that will help you in your future career. We are happy to share a few of our many success stories, converting our interns to full-time employees at COUNTRY.
Natilie Williams, Business Analyst Development Program Apprentice
Starting at COUNTRY Financial as an intern was a great introduction to the organization. On the first day of my internship, I knew that I wanted to stay full-time. In my internship, I was exposed to a variety of departments and opportunities to flourish professionally. Now I am able to utilize my past academic and professional experience and skills while working full-time within the Business Analyst Development Program. The Business Analyst program provides a well-rounded perspective of the various business areas and the functionality of those areas.
I am happy with my choice to stay with COUNTRY after successfully completing graduate school. I look to expanding my abilities and interest, including Diversity and Inclusion. My internship was enlightening and everything that I wanted it to be.
Joey Spero, Associate Information Security Analyst
I am so grateful for the experience COUNTRY has provided me thus far. I came into the corporate world at the beginning of my internship, and I see a completely different person now than the one who first walked in that door at the beginning of the summer. The amount I’ve grown in such a short time is baffling, and I could not be more thrilled about it. COUNTRY took me in with zero exposure to the corporate environment, and provided everything I could need to achieve success.
When I began my internship, COUNTRY placed me in the department in which I provide the most value, but is also my passion — information security. This was my concentration in school, everything I was interested in, and was also my desired career path. I was set up for success from the very beginning.
Kendra Fletcher, Marketing Generalist
I felt blessed to be chosen as a COUNTRY Financial intern, but even more blessed when I was able to transition into a full-time employee. The honest and caring culture that I experienced during my internship pushed me to apply for a full-time position. The exposure I received as an intern helped familiarize necessary resources and processes that I now encounter on a daily basis. In addition, every day I find myself applying real world experiences to my academic foundation and vice versa.
For both my internship and full-time position, I was lucky to be hired in Marketing, my field of study. As a Marketing Generalist I am able to work with all teams within the Marketing Division, meaning most days I walk into an unexpected project. This is not only exciting to me but the constant variety of interactions I encounter has helped me grow professionally. Looking back, I am extremely blessed and grateful my Google search led me to internships on COUNTRYFinancial.com.
Samantha Kuruc, Leasing Specialist
I started working at COUNTRY Financial during my sophomore year of college. I knew I wanted to stay at COUNTRY full-time after the first day of my internship because of the people. Over the past three years, I’ve met some wonderful people and have made memories to last a lifetime. The support and interaction I’ve had from upper management has really helped me to succeed. I have learned to be confident in my work, and I am encouraged every day to be innovative and think outside of the box.
COUNTRY has helped me grow in my career and has opened doors for me that I didn’t know existed. It isn’t just a place I call work. It’s like home and the people here are like family.
Kimberly Diller, Associate Claims Data Research Analyst
I’m incredibly lucky to have been chosen to intern at COUNTRY Financial. I can’t say I felt that way at first — I didn’t get the first internship I applied for, and I hesitated to accept a position in an area I had never heard of. But today, I am so thankful that I did. During that internship, I had the opportunity to job shadow in departments all over the organization, to learn skills, tools and processes that led me to the perfect job, and to meet a number of people across the company that did everything they could to help me land the full time position I have here today.
Now, as a recent college graduate, I get to work with COUNTRY executives to expand the analytics capability of the organization, while still having time for online classes, family, and hobbies (in addition to a long commute!). Even though the internship I got wasn’t exactly what I thought I wanted, it led me to exactly where I wanted to be. Now that’s a powerful internship.
