Workers' Compensation Claims
Work injuries happen. When someone is injured at work, workers’ compensation claims can seem confusing to both employers and employees. We’ll simplify the process for you. Here’s what you should do if you have a claim.
If you are the injured employee
Report the injury sustained at work immediately to your manager. Make sure you provide the date and place of the accident and the type of injury.
Your employer will take it from there and work with us to resolve the claim. You will be contacted later by a claims representative to verify the facts.
If you have any questions about your claim, you can always call 1-866-COUNTRY (1-866-268-6879).
If you are the employer or representative of the employee
For your convenience, there are a couple ways you can file a claim.
Call us after your employee reports an injury, 1-866-COUNTRY (1-866-268-6879). The claims process will be easier if you gather the following information.
You can report your workers compensation claim and a claims representative will call you as quickly as possible to follow up. Note that you will not receive your claim number or claim office contact information until a claims representative contacts you, which is typically within one business day.
Once we have the initial information, a claims representative from COUNTRY will contact the employee to verify facts about the incident. If the claim is approved, COUNTRY pays all approved medical bills, with no co-pays or deductibles paid by the employee.
