Notice: Illinois Storms - November 2013

COUNTRY Financial® is committed to helping rebuild the communities affected by the recent storms in Illinois.  For our customers that means getting claims settled as soon as possible.  Some customers may need more time than others to report claims.  As a result, we have extended the time period for claims reporting and repairs.  We also have implemented safeguards to ensure customers continue to have insurance coverage in place.

If you have been affected by these storms and have any problems or concerns, please let us know by calling 1-866-COUNTRY (1-866-268-6879).  Customers may also file a complaint with the Illinois Department of Insurance External Link online or by calling 1-866-445-5364.

    How to Report Your Claim in My COUNTRY

    1. Choose Report a Claim on your My COUNTRY home page
    2. Select your policy
    3. Provide your contact information
    4. Provide basic claim information
    5. Receive your claim number immediately (or schedule your repair if glass only)
    6. Track your claim status throughout the process

    If you prefer to not report your claim through My COUNTRY, select a claim form below. Note that you will not receive your claim number or claim office contact information until a claims representative contacts you, which is typically within one business day.

    To report an auto glass claim or to report your claim by phone, call 1-866-COUNTRY.

    What to Expect

    After you report your claim, our goal is to get your life back to normal as quickly as possible. Here is what you can expect to happen during the claims process:

    1. Your claim is assigned to a claim representative, who will call you by the end of the next business day to gather additional details
    2. Your claim is reviewed and arrangements are made to inspect/investigate your damages
    3. Your claim is resolved and closed 

    Login to My COUNTRY and choose the Claims tab to check your claim status, including your adjuster information, the date a first payment is made, and more.
