COUNTRY Financial and Cotton States
You may not know it, but COUNTRY Financial® and Cotton States share similar roots in agriculture and values. In 1925, the COUNTRY Financial group began as a homeowners insurance company in Illinois and expanded to farm insurance the very next year. COUNTRY then started offering auto and life to meet the changing needs of our clients. Today, COUNTRY Financial offers a wide range of solutions for farmers, families and businesses in 17 states.
Alpharetta, Georgia Office
Cotton States Insurance has rich history in agriculture as well. In 1941, a group of Georgia farmers formed Cotton Farmers Mutual Insurance Association, which eventually became Cotton States Insurance. Like COUNTRY, Cotton States grew and serves clients in Georgia, Alabama and Tennessee.
In 2005, Cotton States Insurance became affiliated with COUNTRY Financial. Soon, you will begin to see more COUNTRY Financial signs in your local area. Then beginning January 1, 2013, Cotton States Insurance auto and home clients will be served by COUNTRY Financial.
